Kyle Rasco

Hello! My name is Kyle Rasco and I am the Sports Medicine teacher at PHS! This course is part of the Health Occupations Pathway. In addition, I also teach the Essentials of Healthcare course which is a 2 credit class (1 Science Credit & 1 Elective) and it covers Human Anatomy & Physiology. As a graduate of Pickens High School, I am a very proud Dragon and connected to our community. After graduation, I attended The University of Alabama where I worked with various athletic programs through the Athletic Training Education Program. After passing my BOC Exam, I became a Certified Athletic Trainer and became a Graduate Assistant at UGA, working with the Softball & Football programs. After graduation, I worked at Georgia Southern University as the Assistant AT, responsible for Men's Basketball, Tennis and Cheerleading. In 2005, I returned to PHS and have served as the Athletic Trainer, Health/PE teacher, Athletic Director, Assistant AD and various other positions before starting the Sports Medicine Program in 2018. My wife Cassie and I are blessed to have three children Kiptyn, Christian & Chance and can be seen at multiple sporting events and around town! GO DRAGONS!
